Frequently Asked Questions

Small-group social gatherings hosted at some of Oxfordshire's most remarkable settings. Each event is a bespoke experience bringing together a group of interesting people, with bespoke elements like one-off menus, local product showcases, venue tours, and other exclusivities brought together for these events only.
-
No, and quite deliberately. There are excellent business networking groups in Oxfordshire already, we're not one of them. Our events are purely social: no name badges, no elevator pitches, and no work-related agenda. Just great conversation in great company.
-
Also no. Our events are about meeting interesting people, full stop. Many guests come simply to expand their social circle in the area. Everyone is welcome regardless of relationship status.
-
Our guests are typically working professionals from across Oxfordshire, a real mix of backgrounds, industries, and life stages, curated so every table has variety and genuinely good conversation. Many guests are relatively new to the area; plenty have lived here for years.
-
New events are released regularly. The best way to hear first is joining our guestlist. You can also follow us on social media. Each event has limited tickets so it’s worthwhile joining the guestlist to get priority access.
-
Absolutely, most guests do, and the events are designed for it. Arriving solo at one of our events is nothing like walking into a party alone: the group is small, the host introduces everyone, and the whole event is built around making connections easily.
-
Yes, you can book for up to two people, with one honest caveat: our events are designed around the whole group mixing. If you're looking for a private night out together, this probably isn't the right event; if you're both up for meeting everyone, you're very welcome.
-
Our events host an average of between 10 and 20 guests, this varies depending on the event format. Small enough that you'll genuinely talk to everyone, large enough that conversation flows easily.
-
It varies by event and is always listed on the event page. Typically your food and drink, any featured tasting or experience, and other bespoke touches each event includes. No hidden costs unless you choose to buy extras with the venue directly.
-
Smart casual is the safe default. Our venues are lovely, but nobody's checking labels. If a particular event calls for anything different, we'll say so on the event page.
-
Yes, we ask you during the ticket registration and we work with each venue to notify them in advance. Please tell us when booking your ticket, and do not wait until the day of the event as this will be too short notice for the venues to accomodate.
-
We offer a full refund for cancellations up to 7 days before the event. Within 7 days, we'll offer your seat to the waitlist and refund you if it's filled. If your ticket is not taken up by the waitlist within 7 days prior to the event, unfortunately we won’t be able to refund it.
-
Occasionally, yes. We sometimes capture photos and short videos for marketing purposes. You'll be notified about this during ticket registration, and if you'd rather not appear in anything, just let us know: it's never a problem.
-
It varies, some of Oxfordshire's most characterful buildings are also its oldest. We ask about accessibility needs at registration and will always tell you honestly whether a venue is accessible before you book.
-
The majority of our events have non-alcoholic options, however some specific event formats will involve alcohol by design and this will be made clear in the event description (e.g. wine tasting events)
